At ARCONA, being eco-conscious is a huge importance. Which is why this Earth Day, we’re outlining some of our environmental practices we’ve implemented at our company:

ARCONA Products:

• We stress the use of recyclable products and recycling in our operations (Cardboard, Glass, Plastic and Metal materials are actively recycled)
• Our outer boxes are certified as FSC mix or FSC Recycled Commercial printing using the physical separation method
• Our outer boxes are certified as having been produced using 100% Wind Energy
• All Products Cruelty Free Leaping Bunny Certified by the CCIC
• Always actively seeking and testing new fully recyclable glass packaging and bio-based (sourced from sugarcane) plastics for appropriate products
• Terracycle Beauty Box available at the ARCONA Studio as part of our efforts to maximize the recycling of our current packaging

The ARCONA Studio:

• Use energy efficient light bulbs and LED lighting
• Biodegradable detergents + dryer sheets + trash bags
• We no longer use disposable hand towels for the bathroom, we wash them in house to cut back on waste
• Use of natural based cleaners
• Use recycled printer paper
• We ask clients if they would like a retail bag before we give them out to also cut back on waste
• Staff keeps used shipping boxes and packing material to “reuse” before throwing away to get more use out of each item
